Businessman, lacrosse player in his youth and a beloved figure at Summit lacrosse games,'the embodiment of family,' 75 Born on October 27, 1945 in Alexandria, Louisiana, Paul was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur and Mary Elizabeth (Fancher). He grew up in West Islip, NY and graduated from West Islip High School in 1963, where he was active in football and wrestling. But it was lacrosse that truly won his heart. He first picked up a stick in 1958 and was quick to learn and love the game. He would later be inducted into the West Islip High School Hall of Fame. Paul then went on to Rutgers University where he not only graduated with a degree in Computer Science, but was an All-American lacrosse player.
